Description
This training course provides the theoretical and practical knowledge needed to safely operate indoor, gantry, and slewing cranes. The focus is on the safe handling of loads, the proper use of load-handling attachments, and compliance with applicable occupational safety and accident prevention regulations. Through hands-on exercises, participants acquire the necessary skills for safe crane operation in everyday work situations.

Fundamentals according to DGUV Regulation 52, DGUV Guideline 309-003
Types of cranes, crane configurations, and applications
Lifting slings, load-handling devices, and their selection
Center of gravity, load capacity, and safe securing of loads
Signaling, communication, and cooperation during lifting operations
Risk assessment and safety and accident prevention measures
Visual and functional inspections prior to operation (BetrSichV)
Practical crane and slinging exercises

- The training is conducted throughout Germany in collaboration with qualified partner companies.
- The duration of the training depends on the participants’ prior knowledge.
- The training consists of a theoretical and a practical component.
- Completion of the theoretical component is a prerequisite for participating in the practical component.
