Description
Aerial work platforms combine hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems, and their interaction must be checked regularly. This training provides the necessary expertise to properly assess safety-critical components and reliably evaluate the condition of various aerial work platforms. In addition, you will learn how to document inspection results in a traceable manner and systematically classify typical defects.

Legal requirements and inspection guidelines for aerial work platforms (DGUV Guideline 308-002, DGUV Rule 100-500, Section 2.10, BetrSichV, TRBS 1203, ...)
Types, areas of application, and design differences
Assessing the load-bearing structure, boom, and lifting systems
Inspection of hydraulic, electrical, and control systems
Safety functions, emergency lowering, and emergency stop devices
Assessing wear, leaks, and structural damage
Inspection procedures, documentation, and evaluation of identified defects
Real-world damage patterns and typical sources of failure
