Description

With the A1 Certificate of Competence, you will acquire the technical qualifications required to work on stationary refrigeration and air-conditioning systems as well as heat pumps containing fluorinated greenhouse gases, with no upper limit on the charge quantity. In addition to the fundamentals of the refrigeration cycle, the course focuses in particular on the safe handling of refrigerants, leak testing, leak detection, and proper recovery procedures. The training is supplemented by hands-on work on various refrigeration systems and preparation for the certification exam.

Notes

• We offer training and exams for the Category 1 F-gas certificate in collaboration with various partners. As a result, instructors and dates may not always be available or may only be available on short notice.
• To participate, you must have completed a journeyman’s or master craftsman’s examination in the HVAC or electrical trades and have at least 2 years of professional experience in the HVAC or electrical trades.
